Meet the Founder
Tong Wang, Esq. carries 25 years of experience advising US and international corporate clients (including Fortune 500 companies and in-house client) in the Greater New York area. Tong specializes in corporate and transactional matters for private companies, including cross-border business matters. Tong has practiced law in both common law and civil law countries, including representing clients in selected complex litigation and arbitration cases. Strong background in software, IT consulting, e-commerce, life science, technology centric business, foreign direct investment, intellectual property protection, M&A, and private equity funding matters. Prior to New York, Tong taught and practiced law overseas.
Tong is a listed neutral of major US and international arbitral tribunals, regularly selected to serve as an arbitrator and mediator for complex US domestic and international contract disputes, and is a frequent speaker concerning arbitration and ADR. Tong's ADR experience covers areas such as software licensing, maintenance, and marketing; IT consulting; joint venture; e-marketplace; merchant financing; trademark/domain name; proprietary information/trade secrets; disposition of intellectual property assets (entertainment industry); IP licensing (e.g. patent licensing disputes); restrictive covenants; supply chain; employment (financial industry); UCC Article 2; international sale of goods; foreign direct investments; financing. Tong is able to conduct arbitration and mediation in English and Chinese (Mandarin), and has successfully represented clients in both confirmation, and opposition thereto, of domestic and foreign arbitral awards.
